Hello: A Talking Simulator is an experimental game we came up with almost entirely to be contrary. We wanted to work in 3D (and were being strongly encouraged to do so), but also to play to the strengths and interests of a team consisting of one writer and one 2D artist. So we did what we do best; we made a text adventure. You play as one half of a conversation, the game plays the other half. You make choices and steer the conversation by taking paths in the game, each of which is labeled with the response you're giving to the other. The game responds by changing the environment to mach the tone of the conversation and displaying dialogue in the environment. Concept Art |
